    NATION TRANSFORMERS

    MABUHAY and warm revolutionary greetings to all!

     

    “Let’s not give up on the Philippines!” these are the words with strong conviction from a newly registered Engineer bringing up the hope with his response.

    Uttering the words before taking the oath officially, it made me realize that this nation really needs a transformation. I was sitting on the middle row, jumped with a mind-boggling question, “Is it possible to really change the course of today’s generation?”

     

    I will start by describing the plight of the Filipino generation in the country nowadays.

    We have come to an era where everything inconceivable for the past 50 years has been made possible and actual. Kung dati pangarap lang, ngayon pinapakinabangan na. Sa nakaraan ay imahinasyon, ngayon ay may dulot na sensasyon. We can say that everything, I mean, everything, is now made available and accessible.

    “What’s on your mind?,” hindi kumpleto ang isang araw kung hindi updated ang status sa facebook. Samut’ saring blog site at microblogs ang uso ngayon. It is just a click away. Ikaw yan! Alam mo yan! Hindi kumpleto ang celebrations at parties kung walang inuman, pulutan at ibang pang kalokohan. Kulang ang isang oras sa paglalaro ng Dota at kung talagang adik, dadayo sa ibang lugar at maghahanap ng kapustahan. Kapag namatay ang hero sa Dota (press “alt+tab”), para panoorin ang loaded videos sa porn site. Walang panghihinayang sa perang natalo sa sugal basta ang motto “Pana-panahon lang at kanya kanyang swerte lang yan.” Pumapatak na ang edad ng pagbibisyo ngayon sa kabataan ay nagsisimula sa katorse. Pre-marital sex is a part of growing up, ang mindset ng mga kabataang nalululong sa ganitong imoralidad. Nakakatakot isipin na ang iba ay nangangarap pang maging legal ang droga sa ating bansa.

    Maduming pulitika, kapangyarihan at kanya-kanyang agendas ng mga nasa itaas. Kasabay ba talaga ng pagyabong ng kapaligiran ang pagtaas ng antas ng teknolohiya? Technology accommodates every human and inhuman want – pampers every fancy of human fiber. Andyan ka ba?

    I can say that we are too obsessed, obsessed with material things. Youth today are too easily obsessed with all kind of thing; not only material thing but also idol, games, something that may attract their attention. Mga bagay na umiikot sa mundo, mabilis na pagbabago, makamundong mentalidad at paulit-ulit na sanggayong panahon. LIFE IS A CONTINUOUS TREATMENT FOR DISCONTENTMENT. Hinding hindi mo matatagpuan ang salitang “kuntento” kung makikinig at titingin ka lang sa mundong ito.

    “JUST GO WITH THE FLOW,” Ito ang tema sa ngayon. Ikaw ba ay natauhan? O wala kang pakialam? O sadyang natatangatangahan? Hindi lingid sa ating kaalaman pero ang nakalatag na mga salita at titik ay pawang katotohanan. Sabay sa agos ng teknolohiya, tradisyon at kultura. Hindi mo maaalis ang realidad at hindi mo matatakasan ang responsibilidad. Magpatuloy sa kasalanan o tahakin ang tamang landas?

     

    IT IS NEVER TOO LATE! Hindi pa tapos ang laban! Huwag kang papayag na lahat nagbabago na at pinili ang matuwid na daan, IKAW na lang ang hindi pa at patuloy sa pagmaneobra sa sariling mong manibela. Bakit hindi mo hayaan ang Diyos ang magpatakbo ng buhay? Because if you do, you won’t regret it for the rest of your life.

    Hey Hey hey! NATION TRANSFORMATION starts with YOU. Oo! Ikaw! Tayo! Simulan ang pagbabago sa sarili para baguhin ang bansa. God is longing for a generation that will truly love and serve Him. A generation not craving for money, gadgets or self-gratification but rather, kneeling in front of God, praying for this nation to be changed. Mga taong binago, nagbabago at babago ng isang bansang lugmok sa krisis, korapsyon at kahirapan. Isang henerasyon na naglalayong simulan ang isang rebolusyon, hindi armas kundi wastong moral at matibay na karakter ang batayan ng pamumuhay. Isang rebolusyon na tatatak sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.
