Law: Do do do.
Grace: It's done, It's done. You are saved.
Law: Makes you conscious of your sin.
Grace: Makes you conscious of being righteous in Christ Jesus
Law: Always condemns you
Grace: Never condemns you. Lifts you into the cloud of His presence, into the cloud of His glory.
Law: Took the disobedience of Adam and condemned us all.
Grace: Took the obedience of Jesus and declared you to be perfectly righteous in the Father's eyes.
Law: God says: I will by no means forget your sins.
Grace: God says: I will by no means ever remember your sins again.
Law: A revelation of how much is wrong with you; our fallen nature.
Grace: A revelation of how perfectly right with God you are. At the cross Jesus identified with you at your worst, so that in Him you can be identified with Him at His best. There's no height into the glory and acceptance of God. You cannot ascend, because there's no depth of darkness and depravity Jesus refused to descend into on our behalf. Grace takes the focus of us and our worthiness and puts the focus on Him and His worthiness and the glorious fact we're in Him.
Law: Sin abounded.
Grace: Grace has super-excessively more abounded. When sin and grace meet in the boxing ring, grace triumphs on your behalf every time.
Law: Makes you self-conscious.
Grace: Makes you Christ-conscious.
Law: Makes you ask: What must I do?
Grace: Makes you ask: What has Jesus done already?
Law: The burden is on you to perform.
Grace: The burden is on Christ has performed on your behalf already.
Law: Heavy burden with a difficult yoke.
Grace: Light burden with a yoke that's easy.
Law: Ministry of death.
Grace: Ministry of life.
Law: Demands of you. Demands you earn the blessing.
Grace: Gives to you. Has already earned all the blessings for you.
Law: Is dependent on you.
Grace: Is dependent on what Jesus has already one for you.
Law: You will always fail the law.
Grace: Grace will always succeed for you.
Law: Justifies no one and condemns even the best of us.
Grace: Justifies all and approves even the worst of us.
